Fabulous day of riding from Roxburgh onwards. This a great track with excellent surfaces and scenery. Great little stop off at Millers Flat and beautiful all the way to Beaumont bridge. Such a lovely way to spend some hours and feeling in touch with nature.

This was one of my favourite rides during my stay on the South Island. Our bike tour operator ensured I knew where I was going with a briefing the day before. They organised Dave, the jet boat skipper, to meet me at Doctors Point and transport me to Shingle Creek. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable ( living history book) and very friendly.

Had a wonderful day cycling the Gorge. Started in Clyde and was picked up by our cycle tour operator in Roxburgh. Not an easy ride, but so rewarding and spectacular scenery. The jet boat ride broke up the day perfectly. Fascinated history told by the boat captain. Thanks to Fletch and her team for organising everything. The bikes were perfect for the terrain too.

We did the Clutha Gold trail ride from Clyde to Lawrence: amazing. Our cycle tour operator in Clyde organised the accommodations, bikes and itinerary which was fantastically easy. You will explore lovely towns, ride remote trails that are challenging but safe, see wonderful historical remnants, modern dams, and spectacular geography, nature and wildlife and you will have a wonderful boat ride. The trail is relatively easy with great facilities and location. Just do it!

Had three nights on Roxburgh Gorge and Gold trail. Absolutely amazing from organisation to equipment to accommodation. Our cycle tour organiser was exceptionally good at what they do and can’t see any area they could improve on. The trail itself is great quite easy for a non cyclist but very scenic and interesting with a break from the saddle on a jet boat with Dave the man.

We have just completed the Roxburgh Gorge & Clutha Gold cycling organised by a local bike tour operator. The trail was in excellent order and very doable for anyone who does a bit of cycling. There is always the option of walking if necessary. We started from Clyde and cycled the Anniversary trail to Alexandra and on to Doctors Point where we had a very informative jet boat ride with Lawrence.

We have just completed a weeks holiday based in Miller's flat riding sections of the Clutha Gold Trail. The trail was great, well maintained and relatively easy. The scenery was outstanding. The trail meanders alongside the Mighty Clutha in the Teviot Valley. The weather was kind to us and the views along the river were absolutely stunning.

Loved the trail, well designed and a good ride. autumn such a good time to do this. it connects with the Roxburgh river trail and as a ride it is really one when you are planning. Its all about the river and the gold mining history so a must to start from Clyde or vice versa from Clyde but the downhills and tail wind were great heading to Lawrence.
